This experience is a favorite for visitors and locals alike.
As written about in Cosmopolitan, Forbes, and AFAR, The Farm and Food Experience offers a showcase of what grows on Kauai in our regenerative food forest. Sample and discover a collection of exotic and delicious foods growing on Hawai`i from all corners of the globe. Coffee, pineapple, tree tomato, kava, mamak’i, heart of palm, papaya, bananas, and more!
After your journey through the food forest, you’ll enjoy our signature farm-to-table dinner in our beautiful outdoor lei tent.
The Farm & Food Experience demonstrates a model for how food can be grown in harmony with nature, planted in concert so as to minimize the need for imported fertilizers and pesticides. We discuss why Hawai’i shouldn’t need to import 85+% of its food and what a robust local food system can do for communities everywhere.
The tour concludes with a beautiful, set farm-to-table meal to savor and enjoy while celebrating the delicious diversity that exists on Kauai all while exploring our mission here at Common Ground. 100% Island sourced from our farm and farms and food purveyors across the islands: from the cooking oil to the seasonings. The bar at our Tī House lounge is open and serving farm fresh cocktails, locally sourced beer and soft drinks.Relax into a perfect island evening in a beautiful tropical farm setting. We welcome children of all ages.
Our Food
This is a true “farm to table” local dining experience.
A delicious spread showcasing a rainbow of tasty, fresh, exotic, and made from scratch foods inspired by the beauty and diversity of the Garden Isle. Farm style salad. Creative vegetable dishes featuring kale, green onion with roasted purple sweet potato, taro, and breadfruit. Locally ranched meats. All seasoned with freshest island spices. Mamaki and ginger blossom tea.
All of our food is gluten free. We also use no bovine dairy. We can accommodate vegan diets with notice when booking. We are unable to accommodate requests if not on the reservation.
Food is harvested from the farm and prepared fresh for the tour. Due to this, we close our booking 4 hrs before the tour.

You will have a fresh, unique meal every time you visit Common Ground, so an exact menu isn’t available ahead of time.
We are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions or diets when they are provided ahead of time at booking. However, due to the prix fixe format of this experience, we cannot not accommodate last minute requests.

Adults – $145 | Kids 6-12 – $75 | Kids under 6 Free
To make the experience accessible and have greater impact on the people who rely on the food systems everyday, we provide a discount to people residing on the Hawaiian Islands. Hawaii State Resident use code – kamaaina. Must present Hawaii Drivers Licenses at check in.
