Exploring Common Ground
A Regenerative Farm Experience
Weekly Farm Tours will resume on August 11! Thursdays and Fridays 4-6PM
Welcome the evening with exquisite farm crafted cocktails* and pupus on Common Groundʻs magnificent campus. The farm tour meanders through a regenerative food forest, designed by Director of Agroecology John Parziale, where he and his team explain its intricate and interconnected systems. Fittingly, the experience ends with a sunset pau hana, the beloved island tradition synonymous with happy hour.
Common Ground's food forest reveals a symphony of relationships between Hawaiian favorites such as ulu, kava, and taro, Amazon rainforest specimens, annual vegetables, mushrooms, egg-laying chickens, and dairy cows, offering visitors a snapshot of what the farm of the future could look like.
A fruit tasting showcases exotic and traditional fruits. Afterward, guests connect over farm-crafted cocktails* and pupus, surrounded by verdant mountains and the tranquil light of golden hour.
The perfect ending to a day of exploration on Kauai's North Shore, Common Ground farm extend a vision of interconnectedness between humans and our planet that any person, local or tourist, will take home with them.
