An Evening of Mele and Manaʻo

Lady Ipo Kahaunaele and the Moonlight band

Join us for an unforgettable night of music, storytelling, and community under the stars at Common Ground. “An Evening of Mele and Manaʻo” brings together the soulful voice and rich history of Kauaʻi’s own Lady Ipo Kahaunaele with the smooth jazz stylings of the Moonlight Band—featuring acclaimed local talents Logan Sowder and Maluhia Castillo.

Lady Ipo, a longtime musician and cultural treasure, will guide guests through a heartfelt journey of mele (music) and manaʻo (wisdom), sharing personal stories of her love for Hawaiʻi, her ʻohana, and her lifelong dedication to song. This intimate performance is more than entertainment—it’s a celebration of heritage, heart, and the island’s vibrant creative spirit.
