Slow Island uses all Hawaiʻi-grown ingredients for their elixirs and culinary syrups. They have made it their mission to partner with and support local farmers who also value sustainability. By sourcing from their own community, Slow Island fosters a symbiotic relationship: utilizing what the land can provide to create a product that boosts the economy of the land.

Chef and Certified Master Preserver Gida Snyder is the founder of Slow Island Food and Beverage Co. Along with her almost entirely female team, she is driven by quality and inspired by the diversity of ingredients that grow abundantly in Hawaiʻi. Using fresh, local products and real fruit, Slow Island concocts interesting and versatile elixirs and culinary syrups.
