Introducing our first collab of ‘25: Māmaki & Palaka with @tag_aloha  - Whether seen on your grandmother's table growing up, in the window sills walking home from school or a glimpse of a long sleeve red palaka of many of the workers at the Kilauea Sugar long ago- palaka, like Hawai'i, has a history steeped in complexities and stories. As the table is set for a regenerative future, Common Ground invites everyone to the table- the good, the beautiful and even the complex and sometimes messy pieces of the past to come to light, to learn, to grow and ensure we pay homage to the rich tapestry that has made Hawai'i and particularly Kilauea, what it is today.
