The primary ingredient in Treehouse Teas’ “Prime” blend is māmaki, endemic to the Hawaiian islands and known for its medicinal qualities. Moringa (which produces a flavor similar to matcha with hints of blue-green algae), mild and sweet young ginger, lemongrass root, and the slightly peppery flavor of hola santa also commingle in this loose-leaf tea blend. Treehouse Tea has committed to utilizing only Hawaiian-grown teas and Botanicals in their products. A cup of “Prime” tea is an herbaceous taste of the islands.

With the original mission of bringing more quality teas to Hawaiʻi’s restaurants, Brittnee has now turned her focus towards a commitment to using 100% Hawaiʻi-grown teas and Botanicals in her products. She works with tea growers in Hawaiʻi to compose loose-leaf teas of all varieties. By doing so, she is further carving out a space for Hawaiʻi’s tea-growers on the map.
