As crude oil is highly unsustainable and has been known to contain toxic carcinogens, the Epic Surf Wax alternative of using natural beeswax is totally tubular.

Wilkie is the founder of Hawaiʻi Peeps and a leader of the current movement working to push legislation that will ban the toxic sunscreen ingredients destroying coral reefs worldwide. Hawaiʻi Peeps is a passion project for Wilkie, a Kauaʻi-based aromatherapist and ocean-lover. What began as an essential oil company has evolved to a line of lip balms, hair and body oils, sunscreen and more, all emanating the scents of some of Hawaiʻi’s most beloved flora.

Lauren Adelmen is the creator and founder of Epic Surf Wax. As a surfer, long-time volunteer with Sustainable Coastlines Hawaiʻi and a mom, Lauren is passionate about ocean stewardship. Epic Surf Wax is made in Hawaiʻi with local beeswax instead of the petroleum-derived formulas that most surf waxes consist of.
