Acai, as it has gained in popularity beyond its home in the Amazon, has come to be known as a “superfruit.” With a unique nutritional profile for a fruit, somewhat high in fat and low in sugar, Nourish Hanalei’s Dried Acai Fruit Strips are an easily portable and nutrient-dense snack packed with three times the antioxidants of blueberries, plant compounds that could boost brain function, and immune system support. The fruit strips are hand-made in small batches with acai solely grown on a small family farm on the north shore of Kauaʻi.

Meet the Makers
Maile, Marla and Summer are the “Nourish Sisters”, founding Nourish Hanalei in 2019 with a vision of creating wholesome food that captures the pure flavors of Hawaiʻi’s tropical fruits. Their budding entrepreneurship as children with a lemonade stand at the farmer’s market has bloomed into a sister-powered business centered around their North Shore Kauaʻi community and maintaining their credo of sustainability while sharing their products with the world.
