Our Location
Common Ground is ideally situated on Kaua‘i’s lush North Shore—just above Kilauea Town and minutes from beaches like Hanalei Bay, Anini, and Kauapea. With easy access to nearby resorts and the town of Kapa‘a, guests enjoy both natural seclusion and modern convenience
Our Venues
Bridal Cabin
The cabin provides a tranquil space to prepare for you day. On the way to the eucalyptus canopy on the edge of the grand lawn the cabin looks out of the neighboring mahogany forest and horse pasture. Air conditioned
It’s an ideal setting for intimate gatherings that feel immersed in nature.
The Grand Lawn
Ideal for large receptions, the Grand Lawn provides ample space and golden evening views of Namolokama mountain, the surrounding mahogany forest, and the expansive horse pasture.
Its open and adaptable layout allows for a wide range of setups—from elegant seated dinners to lively dancing under the stars.
The nearby amenities make it both stunning and functional for large-scale events.
The Eucalyptus Canopy
Planted over 100 years ago for the Kilauea sugar plantation railroad, these towering trees now create a serene forest setting. The Eucalyptus Canopy filters the Hawaiian sun and wind, framing a perfect view of Namahana mountain.
With its naturally shaded environment and storybook charm, this location is ideal for ceremonies, especially for couples seeking a magical, woodland-inspired backdrop.

The Best from the Farms of Kaua'i and Hawai'i
Whether it is from our food forest or one of our favorite farms. We strive to create a one of a kind meal root in this place.
Our catering options are designed to suit various wedding styles and preferences:
- Plated Menus: Offering elegant, individually served courses featuring dishes like seared line-caught ahi with coffee-chili rub, and grilled Wailua Meat Co. filet mignon accompanied by purple potato salad and chimichurri sauce.
- Family-Style Menus: Encouraging communal dining with shared dishes such as grilled ginger-citrus spiced Kauai shrimp on sugar cane skewers, and slow-roasted, spice-rubbed grass-fed beef ribs.
- Buffet Options: Providing a variety of selections to accommodate diverse tastes and dietary needs.
Each menu is thoughtfully curated to highlight the flavors of Hawai‘i, with seasonal ingredients that reflect the island’s bounty. Our culinary team is dedicated to working with you to create a personalized dining experience that complements your special day.
We got married at the eucalyptus grove at Common Ground, and it was the most AMAZING experience ever. Everyone who worked there was so kind, and the food was out-of-this-world delicious. The drinks were incredible too. It was the most magical wedding I could have dreamed of. Mahalo!!

Jeff and I have had a bit of time to come down from what we are calling the best dinner party we will ever be a part of, which was the entire premise of what we wanted our wedding day to be. We have tried to find the words to express our sincere gratitude for everything that each of you did to make March 1st such an incredible day, but the best we can do for now is THANK YOU. Planning something like that can be stressful and overwhelming, whether it be leading up to the day, the day of or even the day after. For us, we were constantly amazed at how calm and in the moment we were able to be because of all of you.
